This and That

Well I enjoyed looking at these two cakes because of their presentation.
The frosting alone could have put me into a sugar induced coma, maybe.

There was a sale at the fabric store down by Daniel. It has an amazing quilt shop that I always go to called Rosie's Calico Cupboard. I think that is what it's called. They were having a fund raiser for some charity. Many of the customers had donated lots of lovely things for sale. I really loved the blue scarf and it was so soft. I passed it up though, since I already have 3 others.

These little mittens and stockings used, to give gift cards with, were adorable.

Well Anadel turned 12 on November 23rd.  and her wish was for a Ukele . Since I loves Island music I bought her one . It came with a DVD and song book, to teach you how to play. I haven''t heard a performance yet, but  I hope to, soon.

Since I knew Sam was coming into town,
(after I left Daniel's)  I picked up two extra entrees' for dinner at Olive garden. Daniel wanted to go out for dinner on his second night home before I left. Do I drove him here and we got a seat in the bar so we could eat right away. It was a good thing to because by the end of the meal he was tired and ready for bed. I drove home that early Sunday morning and made very good time. 2.5 hours and no traffic!

Yes I ran out of clean silverware, as I did not have time to do my dishes before I left. so chopsticks it was for consuming my eggs.
Ok, so yes I got cinnamon rolls and some other things at the Costco near Daniels's. It is about less than 1/2 a mile away from his house. Here it is a about 6 miles away but there is traffic getting there and back, no matter what time of day that you go.  It takes a tedious 30 min through stop and go traffic lights to get there.
