ok Thanksgiving for real
So there was no official Thanksgiving dinner planned for the Senior missionaries for Thanksgiving. It seemed everyone had various plans or families coming.
However several Temple Ordinance Workers who were spending the week invited any of us who didn't have a place to go, to join them in the multipurpose room in the patron ats. I thought it was creative that they had a TV fire going that was crackling and everything. Everyone brought something. As you can see below it was quite the feast. In fact, there was so much leftover that we got together the next night and had leftovers. I had bought bottles of sparkling cider at Costco while down at Danny's. So I contributed that along with homemade rolls. Which flopped because it was so damp and cold that day. They didn't rise correctly. So I cut up my pumpkin Costco muffins and took those instead.
Nobody was suffering for want of food that's for sure. I had fun getting to know some new people.
