A few moments of wonder and a sweet baptism

So I had to laugh when I saw this car, and what was hanging out of it's trunk!

Busy sorting cards for temple work

I decided to reheat some stir-fried rice I got from the Chinese restaurant when my ninth cousin and I decided to go out to eat. I was a little disappointed by the lack of vegetables in it so I decided to beef it up with more. It turned out yummy and I got three meals out of it. The chopsticks were a gift from my friend Fran before I left on my mission. Well, they got used!

These beautiful Birds of Paradise? were in bloom the other day.

My grandson just turned was baptized. I was sorry to not be able to attend his baptism in Utah. It is necessary to get permission to leave the mission for an overnight. It would have been really expensive for me to have flown there that same day and returned the same day.I am proud of him, he is a sweet kid. I can't believe how tall his brother is getting. He just turned 11. This is my second Son Nathan and his wife Lynn and her mother, I don't know who the teo thers are, but I am guessing they are good friends. I got those suits with the blue shirts for the boys last spring. They were a little bit big at the time but it looks like they are growing into them.
